Book garden
By Mr.Ashayeri (JSI2332)
Tehran Book Garden is the largest collection of books and scientific entertainment in the country, or in other words, the largest bookstore in Iran, which is built in a two-story space with an area of 65,000 square meters and an area of 110,000 square meters in the lands of Abbas Abad. The architect responsible for Tehran Book Garden is Sam Tehranchi.
The construction plan of Tehran Book Garden was proposed since 2003 with the aim of allocating a permanent place for the Tehran Book Fair. Due to the annual holding of the book fair for 10 days and the possibility of turning the book garden into an abandoned place, its use plan was changed many times until it was opened on July 12, 2016, with the aim of enabling more active participation of the book garden in the realization of the country’s visions.
