Questions: When can I travel to Iran or can I apply Iran visa now? How can I get my Iran visa on arrival during covid-19?
Answer: Iran visa policy has been changed. Visitors to Iran must obtain a visa from one of the Iranian diplomatic missions abroad – NO EXCEPTIONS since the outbreak of covid-19. Even if you come from one of the visa exempt countries or countries eligible for visa on arrival (VOA) before. All visitors eligible to enter Iran other than tourism purposes based on their status like diplomat or foreigner residing in Iran must present a negative PCR test before departure from the country of origin or upon arrival at Imam Khomieni International Airport – IKIA.

Iran tourist visa cannot be obtained anymore in any of the following but not limited to; airports, since the outbreak of the corona virus pandemic.
• Isfahan International Airport (Isfahan)
• Kish International Airport (Kish Island)
• Mashhad International Airport (Mashad)
• Dayrestan Airport (Qeshm Island)
• Shiraz International Airport (Shiraz)
• Tabriz International Airport (Tabriz)
• Imam Khomeini International Airport
